The newest treatment for heel pain is now available!
Maryland Heel Pain Centers, LLC works with podiatric and orthopedic physicians to provide the newest non-surgical treatment of plantar fasciitis, or heel pain: Extracorporeal Shock Wave Therapy (ESWT).
Based on breakthrough technology that has effectively treated urinary stones for more than 20 years, chronic heel pain suffers now have an opportunity for relief utilizing the same concept. In the 1990's the application of shock wave therapy to soft tissue body parts was pioneered in Europe and the Dornier Epos Ultra FDA approved in 2002 for treatment of plantar fasciitis. Our mobile musculoskeletal lithotripsy equipment visits hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, and physician offices to enable health care practitioners to utilize ESWT.
Our highly skilled ultrasound / shock wave technicians assist on every case utilizing the Dornier Epos Ultra, the only system with an ultrasound imaging component. This means you can locate, view, target and treat the area of damage and pain with pinpoint accuracy.
With a commitment to excellent service and support, we will work with physicians to provide safe and effective, non-invasive therapy for the treatment of chronic heel pain.
